OUR VANISHING NIGHT
SUMMARY
Artificial lights are created by humans to function at night because humans are diurnal. These cause light pollution. Many yaers ago light pollution didnt existed, but today it is a problem for living things. For examples it affects birds to migrate and to fly properly, and affects baby turtles to find their way to the sea because they follow moonlight.
Scientists are studying affects of light pollution in humans. For example scientists know that light polllution can make difficult for people to sleep, and when we sleep a hormone called melatonine is produced. These hormone reduces cancer posibility in 73 percent.
Some solutions to light pollution are to direct the light to the flour and to use less artificial light.
